While no ARVers claimed a hit in either of Saturday’s Derby List Triple Crown (DLTC) Contest races, six chose horses that were in the money. In the Blue Grass Stakes, Joanie “Hot Lips” Sullivan, Tom Atwater and T.W. Fendley used Associative Remote Viewing (ARV) to select Paddy O’Prado, which placed. Loraine Connon chose First Dude, which showed.

BORDERLAND DERBY

9 | Raise the Bridle | 10.20 | 6.80 | |
3 | Amen Baby | 6.60 |
Winning Outcome: E
CONGRATS to LORAINE and JOANIE for ARVing the 2nd place finisher, who crossed the wire first!
Yes, believe or not, we had another disqualification…. though this one had some less satisfying results than the Battaglia 😉
Debra, Joanie, Loraine and myself had all rated the winning photosite 3.5 or higher (Loraine made it a 5!), enough to make it an ARV prediction. However, ALL of us had ranked another photosite even higher!
In both Joanie and Loraine’s cases, that higher ranked site was none other than the horse who crossed the wire first – and was 15-1!!!!
So the decision to disqualify him was not a popular one from our point of view….
BUT we did get some DLTC contest points for finishing 2nd, plus we ONCE AGAIN have ARVed a LONGSHOT that came VERY close to winning the race!!!!
SO we are doing REALLY WELL, in my sincere opinion – THIS STUFF IS WORKING!!!!!
RAISE THE BRIDLE was taken in hand as he tried to pull to the lead going to the first turn, shared the front just outside AMEN BABY on the backstretch, was let out two wide on the second bend, had the advantage between horses leaving that turn, drifted out some under a left whip at the head of the lane, bumped hard with STORMING SAINT, continued to gradually drift, though under a hand ride, jostled with the latter most of the rest of his trip and narrowly held sway. STORMING SAINT gradually advanced between horses, was three wide leaving the second turn, bumped hard with RAISE THE BRIDLE just inside the three-sixteenths marker, jostled and gradually forced out most of the rest of the way to the wire, could not get past RAISE THE BRIDLE but was easily second best.
There was a stewards’ inquiry into the bumping through the stretch and an objection lodged by the rider of STORMING SAINT claiming interference from RAISE THE BRIDLE in the lane. After their review, the stewards disqualified RAISE THE BRIDLE and placed him second for his interference to STORMING SAINT.
It is interesting to note that many ARVers reported difficulty viewing and especially judging today’s races.
And look what happened – one race was canceled, the other two were so roughly run they resulted in the winners being disqualified!
Imagine that 😉

Week 2 Results: ARV4fun Challenge
After the second week of racing in the Derby List Triple Crown Contest, ARVer Joanie “HotLips” Sullivan tied with four others for SECOND place and Tom Atwater tied for THIRD place with 10 others in the Points contest.
Here are some charts that summarize the Week 2 results of the ARV4fun Challenge: The left side of the chart above shows the seven ARV4fun participants’ results, using Associative Remote Viewing (ARV) and no logical handicapping. (Missing chart color bars denote zero points.)
The right side of the charts are various simple statistics:
- ARV4fun avg – Average of the seven ARV4fun participants
- DLTC avg – Average of all 118 Derby List Triple Crown contest participants
Below are the results for the @’a (ROI) contest. For this contest, ARV4fun participants used the same horses as predicted in the Points contest, while deciding the amount to bet based on intuition. So for ARV4fun participants, this contest is a combination of applying ARV and personal intuition.

We’re off! Make your first predictions today
The first two races of the ARV4fun Challenge are today, so it’s time to get your predictions ready. You should have them entered into PRECOG10 before noon Pacific time (2 p.m. Central, 3 p.m. Eastern). Join us on a webinar to review the transcripts and watch both races live between 1:15-3 p.m. Pacific time (3:15-5 p.m. Central, 4:15-6 p.m. Eastern). That webinar can be accessed at:

The process for your Associative Remove Viewing (ARV) session can be broken into three major steps:
- Remote Viewing
- Obtain the coordinate for each race from PRECOG10.
- Do your cool down, giving yourself a few moments to breath deeply and clear your mind.
- Write down what you see with your “mind’s eye” as you connect with the photosite for the winning horse that’s associated with the coordinate for this race. Sketch what you see.
- Analysis/Judging (The steps on how to use PRECOG10 are described in detail on the PRECOG Overview page . )
- Enter your coordinate and do a Confidence Ranking for each of the Choices, then “SAVE” it to complete the judging process.
- If you are also participating in the Derby List Triple Crown Contest (you must have registered for this by midnight Friday) see additional notes below.
- Post a copy of your transcript as a jpg file on the Google Group PRECOG10 page: http://groups.google.com/group/precog10/files. Please use the file naming convention:<event-name>_ <viewer-name>_<coordinate>.<file-suffix>. The event names for today’s races are HolyBull and LeComte. The Upload File section is at the bottom of the page. (If you do not have scanning capability, but do have fax, please fax to 818-337-2020.)
- Enter your coordinate and do a Confidence Ranking for each of the Choices, then “SAVE” it to complete the judging process.
- Feedback
- Come to the webinar and watch the races live!
- After you receive the e-mail with the race results, go back into PRECOG10 and enter the Actual Outcome letter on the Admin: Predictions and Actualization/Outcome Page, then click PRESS BUTTON TO SAVE YOUR CHANGES. You’ll then receive an e-mail with the winning photosite to compare to the transcript of your viewing session.
- To learn more about the results of this and prior races, check out the tabs at the bottom of the Google Group race results page: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=r-jwDbwOOe5agojTBpSd4-A .
- Come back Monday to see how we all did!
For a quick refresher of what was covered in last night’s webinar, go to the PRECOG10 Powerpoint.
If you run into problems, send an e-mail to webmaster@arv4fun.com.
FOR DERBY LIST TRIPLE CROWN CONTEST PARTICIPANTS ONLY:
After you have completed judging:
- Go to the Admin: Predictions and Actualization/Outcome Page on PRECOG10 and find the Outcome letter of the photosite you chose.
- Compare that Outcome Letter to the list of horses for that race. That list is also posted by race name in the tabs at the bottom of the Google Group race results page.
- Select your horses’ names at the DLTC Contest website, Picks tab.
- Press SUBMIT PICKS.
- Deadline is one hour before post time, or 1:05 pm PST/4:05 pm EST for the Holy Bull, 1:40 PM PST/4:40 pm EST for the LeComte.
- For the ARV4fun Challenge, we are officially tracking the Points contest (right side of Picks page). Your Main pick is your highest Targ CR from your judging; your Alt pick is second-highest (this is only counted if the Main pick scratches). Be sure to send your DLTC contest name to twfendley@arv4fun.com.
- You may also enter some @’s in the @’s (ROI) Contest if you like – we may also track that if we get time.

The ARV4Fun Challenge Team — Marty, Tom and T.W.
The fun begins: Get acquainted with PRECOG10
When you take the ARV4fun Challenge, you’ll be part of a groundbreaking experiment that will help us find out what’s possible with Remote Viewing (RV). Instead of using the intellect or the usual five senses, or even just guessing, you’ll be gathering information from distant targets using intuition to handicap horse races.
Why do I say it’s experimental? For one thing, you’ll start using the RV protocol during Friday’s webinar after less than an hour’s training. That’s a very brief introduction. Heck, I’m still a newbie after taking an online course and a four-day workshop. When the RV protocols were being developed more than thirty years ago during the Cold War, it often took years to fully train members of a top-secret military cadre how to use RV to spy on the Russians, find hostages, locate downed planes and such.
To be sure, what you’ll be doing with Associative Remote Viewing (ARV) is much different from the early RV protocols developed and tested at SRI (Stanford Reserach Institute) and later at Princeton University. The fundamentals, though, are the same. And proven. This intuitive capability does exist, including the ability to gather information about targets that are distant in space and time, including the future.
Which brings me to PRECOG10, the online service Marty Rosenblatt developed that automates the ARV protocol. It provides the tools you’ll need to begin developing your intuitive skills by handicapping horse races in the ARV4fun Challenge. To help ease your learning experience, register now for your one month’s FREE access (normally $100 per year) and take a look around.
Here’s a quick overview of how you’ll use PRECOG10 to handicap horse races:
- Start by going to the New Remote Viewing Session link. Select the radio button by the horse race. You’ll get a page with a six-digit number at the top. That’s your coordinate. Be sure to hit “save” at the bottom of the page.
- After you do the viewing session (you’ll learn how to do this at the webinar), return to PRECOG10. Choose the Analyst/Judge Page and enter your six-digit coordinate. A page with links for photosites (Choices) for each horse will appear.
- As you view each of the photosites (Choices) associated with your coordinate, you will enter a Confidence Ranking (CR) based on the transcript and sketch from your remote viewing session. The page provides a link to the 0-7 Targ scale, a confidence ranking system developed by one of the first RVers, Russell Targ.
- After the race, Tom Atwater will e-mail you the race results with an outcome letter (A, B, C …) that’s associated with the photosite for the winning horse.
- You’ll use PRECOG10’s Admin: Predictions and Actualization/Outcome section to choose the outcome letter of the winning horse’s photosite from a drop-down box under Select Actual Outcome. The outcome letter associated with the photosite you chose earlier on the Analyst/Judge Page is already shown on the Admin page as a prediction for that coordinate.
- When you press the Save Changes button at the bottom of the Admin page, the result (Hit, Miss or Pass) will be automatically recorded in your My Stats section, which archives all the information associated with that viewing. Tom also keeps records for the horse races separately. (My Stats can include your predictions for the lottery and other things.)
- Marty Rosenblatt will e-mail a picture of the photosite associated with the winning horse for your Feedback session. This is an opportunity to review the transcript of your viewing session once again. Chances are good that now you’ll find that you “saw” more than you realized.
