While no ARVers claimed a hit in either of Saturday’s Derby List Triple Crown (DLTC) Contest races, six chose horses that were in the money.  In the Blue Grass Stakes, Joanie “Hot Lips” Sullivan, Tom Atwater and T.W. Fendley used Associative Remote Viewing (ARV) to select Paddy O’Prado, which placed.  Loraine Connon chose First Dude, which showed.

In the Arkansas Derby, the day’s second DLTC race, “Horsepicker” Jim and Patsy Posey chose Dublin, which showed.

Three ARVers claimed hits in Week 9 of the ARV4fun Challenge.  Marty Rosenblatt, “Horsepicker” Jim and T.W. Fendley all used Associative Remote Viewing (ARV) to pick D’Funnybone as the winner of Gulfstream Park’s Swale Stakes.   After scoring a PASS on her first viewing, T.W. chose the winner using a different photoset.  Tom Atwater’s top-ranked horse, Ibboyee, placed and Debra Lynne Katz’ long-shot, Privilaged, showed.

In Gulfstream’s Florida Derby, the week’s second race in the Derby List Triple Crown (DLTC) Contest, “Horsepicker” Jim picked the show horse, Rule.  Winning photosite.

Saturday was crazy fun with four ARVers claiming six hits in Week 8 of the ARV4fun Challenge.  Debra Lynne Katz and Joanie “Hot Lips” Sullivan each chose two winning horses, and Loraine Connon and Tom Atwater each used Associative Remote Viewing (ARV) to pick one winner.   ARVers  “Horsepicker” Jim, Patsy Posey and Hot Lips also selected horses that placed second in one of the three Derby List Triple Crown (DLTC) Contest races.

In the Tampa Bay Derby, Hot Lips selected Odysseus (#7), who won by a short nose over Jim’s horse (#5), Schoolyard Dreams.  Joanie’s transcript

Hot Lips, Tom and Debra all chose Lookin’ At Lucky in Oaklawn Park’s Rebel Stakes.  Transcripts for Tom, Debra and Joanie

In the day’s final DLTC race, Loraine and Debra chose Sidney’s Candy as the winner of Santa Anita’s San Felipe Stakes.

DLTC ROI Week 6

In Week 6, “Horsepicker” Jim took SIXTH place in the @’a (ROI) Contest in the Derby List Triple Crown (DLTC) Contest.  He used Associative Remote Viewing (ARV) to select Vow to Wager, the 28-1 longshot winner of the Feb. 27 Battaglia Memorial Stakes (see his transcript in earlier post).  For this contest, ARV4fun Challenge participants used the same horses as predicted in the DLTC Points Contest, while deciding the amount to bet based on intuition. So for ARV4fun participants, this contest is a combination of applying ARV and personal intuition.

These charts summarize the Week 6 results of the ARV4fun Challenge:  The right side of the charts are various simple statistics:

  • ARV4fun avg – Average of the seven ARV4fun participants
  • DLTC avg – Average of all 118 Derby List Triple Crown contest participants
  • Random points – Number of points expected by making selections at random (Points contest only)

The left side of the Points Contest chart (below) shows the ARV4fun participants’ results, using ARV and no logical handicapping.  Joanie “HotLips” Sullivan continued to lead the ARVers with 24 points, followed by Tom Atwater and  “Horsepicker” Jim with 22 points.

BORDERLAND DERBY

5 Storming Saint 5.60 3.60 3.20
9 Raise the Bridle   10.20 6.80
3 Amen Baby     6.60

Winning Outcome: E

CONGRATS to LORAINE and JOANIE for ARVing the 2nd place finisher, who crossed the wire first!

Yes, believe or not, we had another disqualification…. though this one had some less satisfying results than the Battaglia 😉

Debra, Joanie, Loraine and myself had all rated the winning photosite 3.5 or higher (Loraine made it a 5!), enough to make it an ARV prediction. However, ALL of us had ranked another photosite even higher!

In both Joanie and Loraine’s cases, that higher ranked site was none other than the horse who crossed the wire first – and was 15-1!!!!

So the decision to disqualify him was not a popular one from our point of view….

BUT we did get some DLTC contest points for finishing 2nd, plus we ONCE AGAIN have ARVed a LONGSHOT that came VERY close to winning the race!!!!

SO we are doing REALLY WELL, in my sincere opinion – THIS STUFF IS WORKING!!!!!

RAISE THE BRIDLE was taken in hand as he tried to pull to the lead going to the first turn, shared the front just outside AMEN BABY on the backstretch, was let out two wide on the second bend, had the advantage between horses leaving that turn, drifted out some under a left whip at the head of the lane, bumped hard with STORMING SAINT, continued to gradually drift, though under a hand ride, jostled with the latter most of the rest of his trip and narrowly held sway. STORMING SAINT gradually advanced between horses, was three wide leaving the second turn, bumped hard with RAISE THE BRIDLE just inside the three-sixteenths marker, jostled and gradually forced out most of the rest of the way to the wire, could not get past RAISE THE BRIDLE but was easily second best.

There was a stewards’ inquiry into the bumping through the stretch and an objection lodged by the rider of STORMING SAINT claiming interference from RAISE THE BRIDLE in the lane. After their review, the stewards disqualified RAISE THE BRIDLE and placed him second for his interference to STORMING SAINT.

It is interesting to note that many ARVers reported difficulty viewing and especially judging today’s races.

And look what happened – one race was canceled, the other two were so roughly run they resulted in the winners being disqualified!

Imagine that 😉

In the ARV4fun Challenge, we’re using Associative Remote Viewing (ARV) to predict winners in races leading up to the Triple Crown (Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes).  The races are those chosen by the Derby List Triple Crown Contest, a bragging-rights-only handicapping contest.

If you haven’t already signed up for the ARV4fun Challenge and have Remote Viewing (RV) experience, you can join the fun by registering for a one-month free trial of PRECOG10 (usually $100 per year).  At the Log-on and Register page, use the bottom field for new users that says Register For An Account. Please check out the PRECOG10 Overview to help you through the process.  You may also find the ARV & DLTC Contest Overview helpful.

If you don’t have RV experience and would like to attend a free introductory webinar that includes how to use PRECOG10, please send an e-mail to twfendley@arv4fun.com.
